The methodology of this research is a multiple probes design across behaviors of single-subject experimental design. The independent variable is RDI, and the dependent variables are the percentage of social referencing performance passing which includes action, face, and eye referencing. The participants of this research are two children with severe autism who attends to special education elementary schools. One of the participants is eight years and nine months old and another is nine years and five months old. The following are the main research findings: 1. Appling RDI on the children with autism can observably increase the ability of action, face, and eye referencing. 2. After the RDI has been applied on the two participants, the improvement of the action, face, and eye referencing ability can remain good performance during the Maintenance Period of the test. 3. All of the parents and teachers who participated in this research had positive feedbacks. JUN HUAWEI 魏俊華 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 105 zh-TW
