The study utilized open-structured interview for data collection from a case participant, a veteran English teacher of vocational supplementary high school, then analyzed data with theoretical and conceptual coding process. The findings of the study included: (1) the affected factors of career choice are various, but significant someone(s) plays important influence on the individuals; (2) a teacher’s professional concept and strategies are influenced by former educational/vocational experience; (3) family background, especially finance and marriage, owns great esteem in career development process of a teacher; and (4) human nature is tenacious when facing unexpected factor/accident which affects one’s life, and is flexible on searching for better adjustment in changeable environment.
