Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 森林系所 === 98 === Ecotourism can bring finacial benefits to support sustainable development of local communities. However, unstable customer numbers become a thread to ecotourism. This study employs the transaction cost theory and the involvement theory to explain intention behaviors of tourists using a case study of Sheding Nature Park. A total of 381 valid questionnaires were collected. Results showed interviews with higher education level and income level had higher involvement level. Additionally, interviewers with high involvement had higher transaction cost and participation intention than others. Transaction cost and behavioral intention were significantly related with high degree of involvement. In the future, Sheding community should focus on tourists with high degree of involvement as its major market.
