Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 幼兒教育學系 === 98 === This study was designed to explore the influences of a socioemotional curriculum on children’s development of friendship. The socioemotional curriculum included four components, which were “emotion” , “communication”, “conflict resolution”, and “friendship”. The purpose of this curriculum was to help children understand different emotions; learn how to communicate and express self, resolve inner and outer conflict, and develop positive friendship. Main participants of this study were five to six-year-old children in the top class of one public kindergarten in Pingtung County. The curriculum was conducted for four months, from October, 2007 to March, 2008. Teaching strategies mainly included picture book reading, discussion, situation simulation, and extended activity. This research was mainly conducted in action research method. Data collection methods included interview, observation, and document collection. Data analysis was mainly qualitative based. Research results show that the socioemotional curriculum can promote children’s control of emotions; enhance children’s ability of facing and resolving conflicts; and enhance children’s friendship relationship qualitatively and quantitatively. In the final part, researcher provides some suggestions and discussions.
