In specific, an experiential approach was taken as the essence of the design to be the experience curriculum of life education.     This research adopts the quasi-experimental design. The research subjects are 83 fifth graders from three classes of two primary schools in Chang-hua. The experiment group (n=26) participates in a six-month experience curriculum to care toward campus stray dogs, while the control group (n=57) students receives normal curriculum. ''Life caring toward stray dogs Scale", "Children Sympathy Scale", and the "Caring in Classroom Scale" are employed as the research tools. The pre-tests and post-tests data were collected and analyzed. Besides, the qualitative data of nurturing notes, and the diaries and observations by the teacher were also collected. These data, quantitative and qualitative, were put together to examine the effects of the present educational intervention.     The research findings are summarized as follow: 1. After receiving the nurturing experience curriculum, the experiment group shows the immediate significant and persistent effects toward campus stray dogs life caring, partially on sympathy, and significantly on caring in the classroom. 2. Experience curriculum to care toward campus stray dogs can trains the child to solve problems, to tolerate, positively stimulate social choesion in children the group become more harmonious, the child mind-therapy, provide a relative easy means of improving teaching conditions.     Based on the research results, the researcher proposes practical implications for the school administrative to implement life education school-wise. In addition, it is suggested that the government should have a thorough plan to control the stray animal. Implications for future research were also discussed.
