The purpose of this study is to analyze the reliability and validity of the original teaching evaluation questionnaire, and test the modified questionnaire. First, the study exams the reliability of the original questionnaire and uses the confirmatory factor analysis for validity examination and finds out that the design of the original questionnaire is not good. A pretest of a specialist modified questionnaire is conducted on a stratified random sample of 637 students. After confirmatory factor analysis, item analysis, reliability and validity analysis etc, the modified questionnaire matches all the criterion and can replace the original questionnaire for teaching evaluation.
In addition, the study uses the four factors designed in the modified questionnaire for further analysis on different attributes of students and teachers.
