Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 教育研究所 === 97 === The research focuses on understanding the small group cooperative learning and effect of active learning in teacher education course and the relationship between them. As a result, through the whole process, we found out all the difficulties and made some suggestions for curriculums revising.
In order to accomplish the objective, the research sets students who took “teacher education course” as samples. We utilized “case study” and applied quantifying method - questionnaires of “students’ small group cooperative learning and effect of active learning in teacher education course”, and two other qualifying methods called semi-structural interviews and collecting learning progress files. Then we decoded the data, analyzed the written interview manuscript and retrieved the results of the research as following:
1. Students can improve active learning ability by joining small group cooperative learning.
2. Students can improve teamwork ability by joining small group cooperative learning.
3. Students can improve solving ability by joining small group cooperative learning.
4. Students can improve basic ability by joining small group cooperative learning.
5. Creative curriculum designs (exploring and rethinking) can improve students’ active learning, teamwork, professional and basic ability.
At last, we made some suggestions for organizations offering teacher education, teachers and further study.
