A quasi-experimental design was used with 68 students of the eighth graders in Tainan, and 6 weeks of teaching experiments were conducted. "The English Learning Motivation Questionnaire ", "The English Achievement Examine (I) ", "The English Achievement Examine (II) "and "The Integrating Information Technology into English Teaching Questionnaire " were adopted as instruments of analysis. The independent variable was the teaching method and the dependent variables were the learning motivation and the learning achievements. The data were analyzed by using SPSS For Windows. The results find that infusing information technology into English teaching is helpful to promote students’ learning motivation. However, the effect is not statistic significant in students’ learning achievement. The main findings of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Infusing information technology into English teaching can improve students’ learning motivation. 2. Infusing technology information into English teaching didn’t improve students’ English learning achievements clearly. 3. Students have positive responses to infusing technology into English teaching.
