The subjects of this study was a fourth grade of elementary school student with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder . A single-subject experimental design of multipe-baseline across behaviors was used. The independent variable of this study was self-management strategy. The dependent variable of this study was the times of bleow behavioral problems that include attention deficit behavior, impulsive speaking and being out of the seat. Visual analysis and the C statistic were used in the study in order to analyze the effectiveness of self-management strategy with behavioral problems. The social validity analysis was also supplemented by interviewing the observer and the teacher. Results of this study were summarized as followings: 1. The effects of self-management strategy on an elementary school student with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder with attention deficit behavior, impulsive speaking and being out of the seat were effective. 2. The effects of self-management strategy on an elementary school student with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder with attention deficit behavior, impulsive speaking and being out of the seat were maintained. 3. The effects of self-management strategy on an elementary school student with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder with attention deficit behavior, impulsive speaking and being out of the seat had a high social validity. Finally, according to the above mentioned results, this study proposed some suggestions on deal with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder students and future research. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects on self-management strategy of elementary school students with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Results of this study were summarized as followings:
