Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 97 === This research adopts questionnaire method. The target audiences were 100 students selected randomly from Ping-Tung Junior High School. The objective of this research is to analyze the difference of writing skills and metacongnition on junior high school students,and to go to a step further to go on a probe into the connections with reading attitudes, the writting skills and the writing metacognition. As a result:
1.In junior high school, students’ attitudes about extracurricular reading belong to positiveness, but students spend less time doing the reading jobs.
2.Junior high school students usually regard “books” and “newspapers” as extracurricular readers, but their reading amounts are even lower than the students in Taipei.
3.The main free time activities for junior high school students are not reading extracurricular readers.
4.The writing skills of junior high school students must be strengthened.
5.The writing metacognition to junior high school students is universally partical to low and everyone has divergence.
6.Some affairs affect junior high school students’ reading styles such as sexs,grades, and social-economic status.
7.The junior high school students with various background items show
significant differences in writing abilities.
8.Students prefer reading these kinds of books such as ”poetry and prose”,”inspirable books”,”detective story fictions”and so on. These books have influence on the writing skills and metacognition.
9.The writing skills are relevant to the writing metacognition.
