Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育心理與輔導學系 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to apply structured teaching approach and token economy to increase independent working behaviors and positive behaviors for 5 elementary school students with mental retardation. Independent working behaviors include: putting school bag in the assigned cabinet, placing the communication book on teacher’s desk, completing the cleaning tasks, and doing the assigned academic tasks continually until completed. Positive behaviors are: putting personal belongings away, returning to the seat promptly after recess, and following instructions. The results of the study show that structured teaching and token system can promote all five students’ independent working behaviors and positive behaviors.
