The methods and tools used by enterprises in personnel recruitment are discussed for the pro and con. The limitation of the present methods is explored with the theory of facial characteristics, so to develop a supplementation to the present methods determining personal characters during the recruitment. By way of interviews with entrepreneurs and experts in human resources, determination of personal characters in recruitment is discussed for the theoretical basis and in actual application. Experts in facial characteristics were also interviewed for their opinions on the viability of facial characteristics required for each job description. After combining the expertise from all interviewed in this research, it has been found that the theory of facial characteristics as a determination of personal characters has been applied widely in the personal recruitment. During the interview, facial characteristics are often a key factor in the decision of recruitment. However, there is yet a systematic correlation between the facial characteristics and the job description required for different companies. This research thus develops the different facial characteristics suited for different jobs. Six typical types are presented, such as, decision making chief executive officers, production specialists, marketing specialists, human resources specialists, R&D specialists and financial management specialists. The results are presented to assist enterprises to reduce the risk in the recruitment.
