Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電訊傳播研究所 === 97 === In this research, the relationships between aggressive trait, empathy, identification, involvement and game enjoyment are discussed. In addition, gender is also taken into consideration in the study. Forty-five participants took part in the experiment, and each of them played a violent video game. Participants were asked to fill out questionnaires before and after the game play, measuring their aggressive trait, empathy, identification to the character, involvement, and their game enjoyment. Generally speaking, the research result indicates that aggressive trait, identification and involvement are positively correlated with game enjoyment. When taking gender into consideration, aggressive trait and identification are positively correlated with game enjoyment for males, while identification and involvement are positively correlated with game enjoyment for females. In addition, empathy and game enjoyment are related in this study. Finally, the author discusses limitations and provides suggestions for future research.
