Environmental issues have also become the main themes for modern arts creation. However, the current art curricula fail to adapt to the changes in the various creation forms and media of eco-art. The researcher intended to find out how art education and environmental education can be integrated with campus environment and how visual arts instruction will lead school children to foster their affinity toward nature and their concerns for the local environment. The present study, developed around the premise of the curriculum contents of environmental education and art education and the ecological viewpoint of modern arts, aimed to analyze the contents of Life Curriculum in low grades and to induct the contents of environmental art education curriculum. Questionnaires based on the Delphi technique were given to the specialists for verification and the curriculum content of environmental art education was constructed. According to the curriculum content of environmental art education, the teaching activities based on the school environment were designed, evaluated and amended by all the teachers in Art and Culture Area, hoping that those teaching activities will serve as the self-made teaching materials in the future. The results of this study are as follows. 1. There are six aspects of environmental art education curriculum content in low grades in elementary school. 2. There are fifteen core items concluded in environmental art education curriculum content. 3. The teaching activities of environmental art education have four characteristics. At last, based on the result of the study, some suggestions were given to provide the reference for future study.
