There were 24 fourth elementary graders in this study. All students required to participate in teaching activities, which were totally vediotaped. In order to get further understanding, students were also asked to complete such tasks like assignments, questionnaires, and interviews. According to the results and the findings, the conclusions were stated as follows: 1. Overall, most participants could reach the goals of GSP model, which was based on van Hiele’s five-tiered instruction model. However, few students failed to reach the goals due to their misunderstanding of acute angle, obtuse angle, perimeter and area. 2. GSP model played a positive role in students’ math learning. Students’ motivation and confidence could be activated effectively in GSP model. However, there was no significant influence when learning procedures and learning strategies were taken into consideration. 3. Most participants believed that they could get a higher motivation and confidence in GSP model. Some, nevertheless, had difficulty in learning in GSP model. 4. In this study, an computer-oriented GSP model based on van Hiele’s five-tiered instruction model was developed. It was proven that students could benefit from this GSP model, especially in enhancing students’ motivation and understanding of math. 蘇順德 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 182 zh-TW
