Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 復健諮商研究所 === 95 === The purpose of this research is inquiring the entire process of the 4th and 7th graders’ density concept instruction. During the process, the researcher developing pre-instruction test questionnaire, collecting students’ alternative concepts which something to do with “density”, according to these alternative concepts. The findings show that 4th graders lack of correct concepts of “density and floating-and-sinking phenomenon” before the instruction. The major part of resource of the 4th and 7th graders’ alternative concepts is from themselves own. POE plus Learning Cycle enhance the 4th and 7th graders 26.67% and 33.33% individually.the researcher engaged in designing 2 POE (Prediction-Observation-Explanation) campaigns which are useful for solving individual alternative concepts. This research is focus on “density” concepts’ instruction. The concept of “density” is more abstract than other common concepts. It’s not possible for students to learn it from exploring the mere POE campaign. That’s why the researcher introduce Lowson’s(1995) Learning Cycle into the research, plus POE, make an integrated research process. The conclusion gave two examples for 4th and 7th graders individually to verify the process of conceptual change is fitted for the 4 conditions of conceptual change which Posner, Strike, Hewson & Gertzog(1982) approached.
