Qualitative methods were applied to analyze the interviews from the main people involving in the issue. This research honestly describes their ideas, personalities, regrets, touching or obstacles and observations; how do they operate; the other influential factors. Then, the background, the process and difficulties of “Community-Funded Schooling” are all analyzed. This study investigates how public schools can make use of the community resources to help the education, and describes how the community and school raise money and buy the land. This study obtains the following points after compiling the records from the interview, documents and researchers’ observations. A. “Community- Funded Schooling” happens at the beneficial timing, a group of people realize their dream by destiny. B. The culture and atmosphere, media, persuasion, advertisements and the surrounding beneficial factors all prompt “Community- Funded Schooling” to perform perfectly. C. The appearing of administration baffles the processing of “Community- Funded Schooling”. D. Hisn-Nan’s “Community- Funded Schooling” touching school history is the unprecedented undertaking of the Taiwan modern education. E. The politics affects the interaction between the school and the community more and less. Based on the above conclusions, this study provides the following suggestions for reference. A. Choose the participants cautiously. Propose the subject at the beneficial timing. B. Each organization has to sets up good images and interacts nicely. Take the advantage of the local traditions, the citizenly conditions, explanations and mass media to earn the public belief and then to advocate the subject. C. The administration aspect: To discover, assist and encourage the introducing of civil recourses voluntarily. This will help solve the awkward situation of the short budget in the administration’s operation. D. Arrange the volumes and compile them into the School’s history education.
