Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 食品科學系 === 95 === To understand the organochlorine pesticide residues in dairy products, infant and toddler foods in Taiwan, one hundred samples, including 74 dairy products and 26 infant and toddler foods, were purchased from retail outlets and analyzed by GC/ECD and subsequently confirmed by GC/MS/MS. The fat of samples were first extracted by diethyl ether. Organochlorine pesticides in fat were extracted by acetonitrile and dichloromethane. Solid-phase extraction (SPE) cleanup was performed with 2 successive SPE cartridges of C18 and florisil. The detection limit in butter fat was 0.006 ppm (on fat basis) for -BHC, -BHC, lindane, aldrin, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor, heptachlor-epoxide, -chlordane, -chlordane, 4,4’-DDT and 4,4’-DDE. As for toxaphene and mirex, the detection limits were 0.080 ppm (on fat basis) and 0.008 ppm (on fat basis) respectively. After the method was applied to detect organochlorine pesticides in samples including dairy products, infant and toddler foods samples, 10 dairy products were found to contain 4,4’-DDE, ranging from 0.026 to 0.100 ppm (on fat basis), and no organochlorine pesticide residues were detected in infant and toddler foods. The results showed that the organochlorine pesticide residues in all samples were in compliance with the national regulation.
