Five hearing impaired students of fifth and sixth grades were selected to receive a ten-week period LOGO program instruction. The study used qualitative research and collected the information and data of computer video tapes, transcribed and edited them into protocols, with which to analyze the changing of problem-solving process. The main findings of this study were found as follows: 1. LOGO could offer more visual feedback to help hearing-impaired children to bridge the gap of spoken language and inspire students’ learning initiative. In the activities, they could share or discuss newfound answers with others and enhance their problem solving ability in the interaction . 2. After the instruction, the children learned more geometrical concepts and used strategies to specify problems. In the problem-solving process, they could verify and take down all the commands. They also learned to compare and analyze the discrepancies between the objective and their own creations. 3. The error pattern in the process included visual simulation, fixating on a specific strategy, impulsivity and having misconcept to inspect their creations. 4. The relative factors in the problem-solving process included pre-requisite knowledge, problem-solving strategies, visual cues, syntactic-rule and manipulating skill.
