The purpose of this research is focused on the job satisfaction among the labor cross straight that are employed by same Taiwanese company through the leadership’s perspective. This study utilizes a Taiwanese manufacturer for further discussion and case study. For the leadership patterns, this study consults the related scholars’ theories from both domestically and internationally. This study adopts the Systems of Management (Likert, 1967) to be the guidance of the leadership patterns in the following evaluation. In addition, to evaluate the job satisfaction, this research adopts the five characteristics theory (Smith, 1969). Furthermore, this research attempts to differentiate the diversity of individual factors that could cause the relationship changing between the leadership patterns and the job satisfaction. In order to acquire the comprehensive understanding of the relationship between leadership patterns and job satisfaction, an actual company has been analyzed and discussed in this research. This study uses self-administrated questionnaire survey to collect information, and all the analytical statistics are analyzed by SPSS 10.0 for Windows. The tests are the labors under the same enterprise. 290 copies of questionnaire have been distributed and there are 249 valid copies received. The ratio of valid questionnaire are up to 85.86﹪.
The research found:
1.The differentiation of the overall understanding regarding the leadership patterns and job satisfaction:
a.“Sex” did not show any significant difference in both leadership patterns and job satisfaction as well as the “Working Attributes” and the “Working Experience” also appeared no significant matters to the job satisfaction.
b.“Marriage”, “Age”, “Education”, and “Experience and Qualification” appeared partial differences when the compare to the labor from cross straight.
c.The factor of “Area” appeared to have a significant difference in the leadership patterns for both sides of straight; in addition, there was an apparent difference in the job satisfaction besides “Challenge”.
2.The analytical results found in the leadership patterns and job satisfaction:
a.This survey found a significant positive correlation when comparing the leadership patterns with the overall job satisfaction and its variables.
b.The leadership patterns and its variables had a significant positive correlation when compare to the overall job satisfaction while “Goal Setting” had positive correlation with the overall job satisfaction.
c.During the comparison of the variables from both “Leadership Patterns” and “Job Satisfaction”, the relationship displayed below:
i.The variables of “Decision Making” and “Authorization” from the leadership patterns did not have apparent relationship with the factor of “Challenge” from job satisfaction.
ii.“Goal Setting” in the leadership patterns had very positive correlation to the “Boss” in the job satisfaction while the “Challenge” had a positive correlation to the “Goal Setting”. All other variables appeared to have significant correlation to the labor cross straight.
