The energy consumption of five kinds of chicken products chicken nuggets ,hamburger fried chicken, okonomiyaki chicken and chicken-fried steak manufactured in a local factory in Nantou ,Taiwan were investigated. The result indicates that the impacts to the environment of each 1,000 kilograms chicken meat processed manufactures are chicken nuggets 51 Pt, hamburger 52 Pt, fried chicken 89 Pt, okonomiyaki chicken 445 Pt, chicken-fried steak 27 Pt.
