Summary: | 碩士 === 中山醫學大學 === 營養學研究所 === 94 === To evaluate the environmental impact of chicken processing in Taiwan the Life Cycle Assessment software Simapro 4.0 was used. The energy consumption of five kinds of chicken products chicken nuggets ,hamburger fried chicken, okonomiyaki chicken and chicken-fried steak manufactured in a local factory in Nantou ,Taiwan were investigated.
The result indicates that the impacts to the environment of each 1,000 kilograms chicken meat processed manufactures are chicken nuggets 51 Pt, hamburger 52 Pt, fried chicken 89 Pt, okonomiyaki
chicken 445 Pt, chicken-fried steak 27 Pt. Among those processed manufacture classifications, Acidification caused by high power consumption and Winter smog are the main concerned.
