Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this study is to establish the elementary mentor teachers’ professional standards. According to literature analysis, interview transcripts of experts, panel meetings, the original questionnaire was developed and there were eighty-nine participants, inclusive of professors, principals, lead teachers, mentor teachers and interns.
After two-stage Delphi survey, the results of this study are as following: The professional standards for mentoring competence could be divided into five categories, including basic understandings of being mentors, teaching competency, interpersonal communication competency, professional development competency and mentoring competency. There are seventy professional standards.
In a word, in accordance with the consequences of this study, the concerned authority could work out the mentor training programs and enforce the mentoring content knowledge to improve the mentoring efficiency.
