Summary: | 碩士 === 國防管理學院 === 資源管理研究所 === 93 === This study aims to explore the relationships among employees’ personality trait, psychological contract, organizational citizenship behavior and deviant workplace behavior. Besides, it also aims to examine how the relationships between perceived contract breach and deviant workplace behavior can be moderated by relationship quality. Totally 264 pair of samples are collected from 25 government’s and industrial organizations in Taiwan. Results demonstrated that, first, extroverts and employees with high conscientiousness tend to form relational contracts, neurotics tend to form transactional contracts. Secondly, neuroticism is positively related to perceived contract breach, high conscientiousness is only negatively related to perceived economic breach. Thirdly, both transactional and relational contracts are positively related to organizational citizenship behavior. Moreover, relational contracts are partially stronger positive related to organizational citizenship behavior than transactional contracts. Fourthly, we found that perceived psychological breach is positively related to deviant workplace behavior. Fifthly, we also found that relationship quality moderates partially between perceived contract breach and deviant workplace behavior. Finally, Base on the findings, this study will provide suggestions for both practitioners and researchers.
