After research is completed, The Balanced Scorecard is used to build up strategic systems. This thesis explores the experience of New Company as they determine the feasibility of establishing a new venture with precision coating as its core technology. The company would aim to supply high-technology manufacturers producing existing technologies, such as TFT-LCD, who are currently supplied from Japan. In the next 5-10 years, demand from producers of both existing and future technologies requiring precision coating is expected to increase exponentially for Color Filters, Specialty Glass, Polarizes, Backlight Modules, among others. In particular, high demand is expected from manufacturers of Polarizes, Backlight Modules, and Plastic/Flexible Displays as precision coating is required for their every production.
After completing its investigation to determine feasibility,
the company''''s founder and other investors would enter into discussions to determine a plan of action and how to integrate this plan into the company''''s existing policies. Issues of Budget and Environmental concerns would be addressed. Benchmarks would be established to determine progress.
