With the life-story narrative as the data-collecting method, the researcher acquired the data from 4 unmarried women, who are all of educational and helping professionals. After analyzing the data with the grounded theory, the findings are as follows: (1) those females’ identity formation was a dynamic process, which could be divided into five stages which were: The tabula period, the duplication period, the shocking period, the retrospection period and the enlightenment period. The process could be a spiral circulation among the duplication, shocking and retrospection. (2) Referring to self-identity, it is not only composed of sexual-identity, role-identity in the family, but also included other aspects in national, cultural, and religion identity. In addition to the abovementioned, occupational identity, career development, life style, values, self-concept, and the meaning of life should be taken into considerations as well. (3) The six influential factors on self-identity formation process were significant others and events, the environment, physical, religion and individual factors. Finally, according to the research results, the author proposed some suggestions to females, researchers and for future research. 邱珍琬 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 213 zh-TW |
