In order to achieve the purpose, 57 eighth grade students and 58 ninth grade students from a public junior high school in Taipei, and 68 tenth grade students and 68 eleventh grade students in a public senior high school in Taipei county are chosen as the objects of study. This research uses two-tier test tools to understand student’ extant knowledge. The results of the examination questions are analyzed to find the students with the misconception. The representative ones are interviewed. The material is integrated, induced, and recored, and then made a comparison with the result of the written test. These results lead to the conclusion: 1. Among the four groups of students, the average of the points is that the higher the grade is, the better the students do except the ninth grade students. 2. For gas power balanced examination questions, the eleventh grade students do it best, the secondary is the eighth grade students, the third is the tenth grade students, and the last is the ninth grade students. 3. For the behavior of the concept of gas volume, the higher the grade is, the better the students do. 4. For the behavior of the concept of gas particle, the higher the grade is, the better the students do; however, the tenth grade students do it the worst. 5. For the behavior of the concept of gas pressure, the higher the grade is, the better the students do; it is a concept of spontaneity. 洪振方 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
