Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 自然科學教育學系碩士班 === 91 === ABSTRACT The main purpose of this study is to investigate the alternative conceptions on permeability and hydraulic action for primary school four-grade students. Results of this study should be able to provide a reference for teaching relative course. First, there are 337 four-grade students joining the opened paper-and-pencil test. Second, 31 students were chosen for in-depth interviews. Results show that students have many alternative conceptions on permeability and hydraulic action. It may lead to some learning difficulties. 1.The children’s conceptions of permeability are influenced by the conceptions of objects’ weight. 2.Students explain the permeability according to the object or its characteristic on the surface. 3.The conceptions of「big and heavy」stone take effect on learning fluvial transport. 4.It’s difficult to learn conceptions of hydraulic action without real life experiences. 5.Students tend to apply intuition, verbal habit, knowledge and real life experiences to explain natural phenomena.
