The participants in this study are two 8th grade classes and two 10th grade classes as experimental group. And four 8th grade classes and four 10th grade classes are control group. Understanding Nature of Science Questionnaire (UNOS, Chen) was used for comparing the difference between control group and experimental group after the curriculum being taught. Also an open-ended questionnaire was used for further clarify the results from UNOS. The results showed: 1.The curriculum with science history will put students toward more positive attitude to science. 2.The curriculum with science history will improve students’ understanding of nature of science. 3.There is no gender difference for understanding NOS. The difference of understanding NOS among students with different pre-knowledge reaches significant level. 4.The understanding of NOS of junior high school students was improved more than senior high school students. 5.Teaching science with science history will decrease the gap of difference among students’ with different pre-knowledge. 楊慶成 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 162 zh-TW
