碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 特殊教育學系在職進修專班 === 91 === The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of the story structure instruction on students with learning disabilities in the area of reading comprehension. The multiple probe design across subjects was used in this study. Dependent variables were consisted of scores from the Multiple Choice Reading Comprehension Test and the Oral Story Retell Test developed by the researcher. The results were analyzed through visual inspection analysis. The results indicated that the story structure instruction increased reading comprehension performance of students with learning disabilities. But the effects of the instruction decreased after discontinuing the instruction.
