The results of shake-flask experiments showed that the best to 10﹪spores suspension has transferred to production medium after 24h of culture when activity of cellular growth was highest in pre-culture. It was found that pigment production initiated at day 2, followed by monacolin K production at day 6. When the glycerol used was increased to be 176.4 mg/L in the production medium, monacolin K production was increased as 2.7-fold of that in the control group. At the time of the glycerol and peptone the experiment group with G/P ratio 33, the monacolin K increased to 3.52-fold compared with control teams, when the G/P ratio reaches 100 that it is due to inhibition and the G/P ratio is appropriately. In experiments, a simple temperature-shift method proved valuable, where monacolin K was further increased to be 2.18-fold.
