| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 傳播所 === 90 === This study adopts Michael Porter’s “Five Forces Model” to examine the impact of digitalization on the terrestrial television in Taiwan. Two research methods, secondary data analysis and intensive interviews, were used to collect data for this study. The data analysis shows that the five forces model did provide a useful framework for this study to investigate the effect of digitalization on the terrestrial television in Taiwan. Based on the findings, this study suggests several strategies for the terrestrial television to become more competitive in Taiwan’s television market.
