In this study, eighteen specimens were tested to investigate the punching shear behavior of reinforced concrete slabs loaded through a L-shape column. Variables included in this study are the concrete strength, the flexural reinforcement ratio and the bo/d ratio.Based on test results in this study, the applicability of current design equations when applied to reinforced concrete slabs loaded through a L-shape column are carefully examined.
