Diane Seder, a Roxbury Work Study Project volunteer, stands behind the scaffolding of a project house, while holding a paintbrush.
During the summers of 1965-1968, college and high school students joined together to paint houses and revitalize the Washington Park area of Roxbury, as part of the Freedom House's Roxbury Work Study Project.
