The methodology for the translation analysis is supported by Lambert e Gorp’s proposed scheme. The main aim of this article is to observe the translational practice which should take into consideration conditional social and cultural factors in order to reach the target-culture reader making sense to the translated text as well as bringing back the ‘original’ masterpiece published in Europe in 1914 to Brazil in 1997 and 2006 plenty of target-reader’s social and cultural features and also the source reader’s.http://periodicos.uesb.br/index.php/folio/article/viewFile/440/624Translation.
