Summary:In France, the National Ministry of Education attempted the integration of CITs into university teaching through speeches and structures which aim to promote the integration and render it visible. Different periods of the ways in which CITs were promoted are thus identifiable. We analyze how this integration tells itself through a historical study. We see that the recent terminological stability is accompanied by an increase in communications logic in regards to the students. The introduction of certification in CIT competencies for students from their entry into university is an hint of the banalization of the technological tool which nonetheless, does not presume its conditions of appropriation.
