Summary:  The purpose of the present study was to study the effects of language-experience approach on writing expression of fifth grade students in elementary schools. An experimental and a pretest-posttest control group design method were applied . The subjects of this study were all Isfahanian students and 55 girl's students were random ly chosen as sample size of the study. In order to measure writing expressive of children's, scholar-made test of which reliability and validity were confirmed , were applied. After gathering and analysis of the data with statistical analysis of covariance, the following results were revealed: The difference between the performance of students , in both control group and the experimental group in writing expression skills was significant ) P ⤠0/005 ( . It shows that the language-experience approach has influenced on the students â functions in all the sub skills related to writing expressive (description, diary-writing, summery-writing, story-writing and letter-writing).
