Argynnis alexandra Ménétriès, 1832, a new species in Armenian butterfly fauna (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae)
The population of little studied, rare and relic species Argynnis alexandra Ménétriès, 1832 (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) being known from forest sites of the Southern Caspian area in Azerbaijan, Iran and Western Kopetdagh (Turkmenistan) is found in Zangezur range of Armenia.
