The Betrayal of Aeneas

<p>The story that Aeneas out of hostility to Priam betrayed Troy to the Greeks, first met in Menecrates of Xanthus, is hinted at already in the <em>Iliad </em>and must have figured in the epic tradition, perhaps in the <em>Ilias Parva.</em></p>
