Summary:The aim of this study was to determinate of lactobacilli (two strains) acidifying activity, their proteolytic activity and ability to grow in conditions of NaCl. The strains of lactobacilli were isolated from raw cow milk. Isolates were identified with commercial biochemical test API 50 CHL and PCR method, as Lb. plantarum. The first strain showed higher proteolytic activity as the second strain in conditions of acidity with pH 5.9. Proteolytic activity of the first strain was higher with longer time of cultivation (5 – 10 days). Both tested  strains grew in conditions with NaCl from 0 to 6 % without its significant decline.
