Thus, the objects of investigation in this study are the technical schools under the supervision of the Regional Board of Education (RBE) of Mata Centro, Pernambuco. A qualitative, exploratory approach was adopted as methodology, using the method of multiple case studies. Data collection was conducted through desk research, direct observation, and semi-structured interviews with structured questionnaires based on the balanced scorecard perspective on a sample of 24 students. The empirical data showed that the students viewed the management model adopted by the State Government as being effective in society.http://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=81045305002
