Formação (des)continuada e representação de professor em materiais didáticos da Olimpíada de Língua Portuguesa

Based on the discursive and deconstructive perspective and on socio-cultural studies, this paper intends to question the representations of teachers in educational materials of "Portuguese Language 0lympics" Assuming that the socially constructed view about the teacher is that of an agent imbued with theoretic and methodological apparatus to deol with a given knowledge; and that such knowledge is, in most cases, the same one conveyed by the textbook; and also that the 'Olimpíada' material enters the classroom to play the role of the textbook. Then, we conclude that the teacher is represented in this material as an agent stripped from his knowledge and u noble to handle the task of teaching writing.
