Red Country by Joe Abercrombie, Drood by Dan Simmons, Les Lames du cardinal written by Pierre Pevel and Brent Weeks’ The Way of Shadows show that in the fantasy text translation, intercultural relations are always present due to the fact that the fantasy world constitutes a separate culture, which must be respected.
