Summary:It is proceeded by a historical analysis of the organizational process in the educational field, including the research, by the Educational Renovators, between 1924 and 1964. It is shown that from 1970 on, with the institutionalization of the post graduation segment and research in the Brazilian universities, the Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação (National Association of Post-Graduation and Research Education) – ANPEd –, had to deal with bringing onward an organizational network in the educational research field nationwide. Finally, some study accounts are taken in the History of Education done in different educational instances so as to present part of an inventory about the educational-historical production of researchers in Northeastern Brazil, afterwards, presented in the teamwork História da Educação dos Encontros de Pesquisa Educacional do Nordeste (EPENs, Education History on Educational Research Meetings in Northeastern Brazil), between 1991 and 2001.
