This experiment was carried out in a public school in Manaus, during biology classes at two classes in the 3rd year of high school. The activity was developed in three moments: 1) classroom observation and lesson plan and textbook analysis; 2) group of students and teacher’ interview; 3) background knowledge analysis and teaching strategy application.
