Description
Summary:This article has as main objective to present the theoretical assumptions of the sociointeractive conception of language and its implications in the teaching of Portuguese Language (PL) as a mother language. In the light of Marcuschi (2008), Antunes (2010) and Koch (2011), there will be exposed the main characteristics of this language view through comparisons with other conceptions and reflections about the main objective of language use. Then, we will demonstrate how this view influences in the learning of PL as a mother language. Therefore, the processes that permeate the reading and writing of texts will be presented so that we can base the reading and textual production practices in the school scope. Next, we will present an activity proposal based on sociointeracionismo and directed to the 4th grade class of basic education. Therefore, we concluded that to consider the teaching of PL in the light of sociointeracionism is to give to reading and writing clear and functional objectives that will give meaning to the textual production of the students.
