Summary: | This article offers the results obtained by evaluating the transfer, with a questionnaire that has been validated ex professo, in 105 activities belonging to two types of training modalities: self-training (AF) and face-to-face instruction (CP). This research took place during the 2017/2018 academic year at the ‘Centro del Profesorado’ (CEP) in Malaga where the responses of 1242 teachers were analyzed. The results suggest that the transfer process is slightly higher in AF than in CP. Likewise, a series of factors have been identified, common to both modalities, that facilitate or hinder this process. Among the first, we highlight the need of training for the job, the help of colleagues and the motivation to transfer; among the latter, the lack of time and resources and the resistance of the students. Finally, in the light of the analyzes carried out, a series of improvement proposals aimed in order of increasing the efficiency of the transfer process have been outlined.
