Whole rock Pb—Pb isochron age for the Pääkkö iron formation in Väyrylänkylä, South Puolanka area, Finland
This paper is a short comment on the first whole rock Pb—Pb isochron age determination for the Marine Jatulian rocks of the Karelides (Middle Precambrian) in Finland. According to this method the age of the Pääkkö iron formation is 2 080 ± 45 Ma.
