Summary:<p>This paper teaches a reflection about the value that emotional salary represents as a practice of internal corporate social responsibility in the governance models of the cooperative sector; for this, an approach to the concept of emotional salary was initially approached; Then, the reflection proper between the emotional salary is shown, and what it means in a cooperative governance model. As a conclusion, it is unquestionably emphasized that emotional salary is very important in the business sector, including the cooperative, since its implementation achieves obtaining more committed teams, which undoubtedly optimize the work environment.</p>
