We rectify the name Petrochirus fabroensis Pasini, Garassino & De Angeli, 2014, from the Pliocene of Masserano (Piedmont, NW Italy), erroneously reported for P. sanctilazzari Pasini, Garassino & De Angeli, 2014, from the early Pleistocene of Fabro Scalo (Umbria, Central Italy).
